this life
guarded yet free
so coiled in faith
filled with loves anxiety
we see
what we are shown
they fill our minds
and create our souls
we hear
and touch the skies
we bend the knee
and we eat their lies
we’re touched
our thoughts are formed
but do we really
get the message
