if we experience nothing
can feeling be anything but experience
is there a unique persona innate in every being
is life’s start at the unison of egg and sperm
time passes and we experience
each second ticking by
with another picture in full colour
and a multi-phonic recording
filed away along with the
bouquet of life’s events
the tantalising touch of
another birth and then
the death of a loved one
a slow melodic pulse of a gentle lover
hovers on salty lips
a testament to our essence
sighs and moans are the
evidence that we may only be nothing
if we experience nothing
we make our life
from all our endeavours
from all our trials
from those we meet
from events which wrap and grasp us
